BABY PAGEANT INFORMATION:

What are the age divisions? Age divisions are posted above by the baby photo. We go by how old your baby is the day of the pageant to determine what division she will be in.

Do I have to live in Mason County to be able to participate? YES. There are several pageants all over Washington State but this pageant is specifically for those that live in Mason County Washington only. Proof of residency can be asked.

What are the areas of competition for the Baby Contestants? All contestants will compete in Photogenic, Baby playtime and formal wear.  The Baby pageant is discounted and shorter than the older girl program because small children do better in a shorter program setting. (THERE IS NO CASUAL WEAR) Baby Playtime is on Saturday September 28th at the PUD3 Conference Room. (Time will be posted)

What does my child wear? Playtime is a casual cute summer outfit and formal attire is a Easter type dress, no long dresses are allowed in the baby divisions.

What do I get with my entry fee? Every girl gets all the optional's included into your entry, a tiara for participating and the official t-shirt for the opening number.

What are Mini Optional's? Mini Optional's have no bearing on who wins the overall crown in your division they are just extra fun awards to be won onstage. Mini Optional's are judging during line up on stage for:  BEST BACK TO SCHOOL WEAR, BEST FORMAL ATTIRE, BEST INTERVIEW, BEST ONSTAGE PERSONALITY, PRETTIEST HAIR, PRETTIEST SMILE, PRETTIEST EYES, PHOTOGENIC.

What is required for the winners? Please note that Baby Royalty will not be included in our community service events due to the commitment of these events and how they are not suitable for small children. Babies will be invited to our yearly fun photoshoot and summer parades only. Baby Royalty do not crown their successors. Due to low numbers, we do not have a boy pageant anymore.

MISS MASON COUNTY PAGEANT INFORMATION AND MISS REMARKABLE BEAUTIFUL INFORMATION

Miss Remarkably Beautiful contestants compete in all the same areas as the Miss Mason County contestants do.

What grades are eligible? Kindergarten through 12th grade and Collegiate students.

Do I have to live in Mason County to be able to participate? YES, If you attend one of these schools you are eligible to compete: Evergreen Elementary, Southside Elementary, Bordeaux Elementary, Mountain View Elementary, Sandhill Elementary, Belfair Elementary, Grapeview Elementary/Middle, Pioneer Primary/Intermediate/Middle School, Mary M. Knight, Hood Canal Elementary/Junior High, Hawkins Middle School, Olympic Middle School, Oakland Bay Junior High, Shelton High School, North Mason High School, Mason County Christian, Shelton Valley Christian, Choice High School, James A. Taylor High School, Ceder High and homeschooled students.

What are the age divisions? Age divisions are posted above by the large photos above.  How do I know what division I am in? Instead of going by age we are now going by grade level. We are currently in the 2023-2024 calendar year, all contestants will compete in their new grade level for the upcoming 2024-2025 calendar year. For example, if you are currently in the 6th grade the start of the new school calendar year for September 2024 this puts you into the 7th grade, this will be the title you will be competing for.

What if I am homeschooled? Proof of Mason County residency is needed and proof of current homeschooling program to verify grade level.

Is there a title if you are in college and if so is there an age limit? Yes, Miss Mason County Collegiate, for full-time or part-time college students. All contestants will have to provide proof of residency and enrollment. You cannot be in running start and participate in this division. The Collegiate title is for graduated high school students with a high school diploma or GED. The max age is 26 years old.

Is there a division for contestants with special needs or disabilities? Absolutely yes! The Miss Remarkably Beautiful Pageant. This is the only part of the pageant where contestants can live outside of Mason County. The reason why is because there are very limited pageants that accommodate young women with special needs and disabilities. The same rules still apply for grade level entry. 6 titles will be given out.

What do I get with my entry fee? Every girl gets all the mini optional's included into your entry, a tiara for participating and the official t-shirt for the opening number.

What does my child wear? ONLY 3 CLOTHING ITEMS NEEDED: INTERVIEW, BACK TO SCHOOL CASUAL WEAR AND FORMAL WEAR. Interview is in the official t-shirt with pants of your choice (Shorts, legging, jeans are acceptable). Back-to-school casual wear is exactly that...what cute outfit are you wearing to the first day of school and accessories can be used!  Formal attire is contestants' choice! Long or short dresses are allowed in all divisions (except for the baby divisions). Dresses need to be age appropriate and fit properly. Dresses do not have to be expensive!!!! Prom dresses, homecoming dresses are appropriate. Judges are looking for does the color suit her, fit well and does she have confidence on stage to while in modeling in her formal wear.

Do I need a talent to compete? NO! This is a separate competition that we are offering this year called TALENT OF MASON COUNTY as a side award. Winners will win a sash and crown and it has no overall bearing on who wins the overall crown in their age division. The cost is $25 to participate. TALENT MAX TIME IS 2.5 MINUTES. For AGES 7 AND UP ONLY!

What are the areas of competition for Remarkably Beautiful contestants and Kindergarten through Collegiate contestants? These division will compete in Formal wear, Back-to-school Theme Wear, Photogenic and Interview. All contestants will do a easy and fun 2 minute interview with the judges on Saturday September 28 at the PUD3 Auditorium. (Time will be posted)
